  Jonathan Dean, prominent in the early history of Jamaica and of Oyster Bay (Cohasset), married Margaret (Oakley?) and had twelve children, three of whom settled in Westchester County. Jonathan (married 1773 Mary Causter of Westchester, daughter of Joseph) figures in the early history of Nine Partners.
